Software Summary | The HealthInfoNet Clinical Portal gives participating providers the ability to securely look up and retrieve real-time patient medical record information in a view-only screen at the point of care, greatly improving patient safety and care coordination activities. |
Software Updates | HealthInfoNet is now receiving all state-supplied COVID-19 vaccine administration data documented within the Maine Immunization Information System (MIIS), known as ImmPact. ImmPact serves as the repository for accurate and up-to-date immunization records for all persons born, residing, or receiving vaccines in the state of Maine. HIE Clinical Portal end users can now view their patients’ COVID-19 immunization history by opening the “Immunizations” folder within the Document Library and selecting the “Current Immunizations” document. Information included in the record includes the administration date (“Date”), the description of the vaccine (“Vaccine”), the amount of the dose (“Amount”), the units associated with the dose (“Units”), and the administration location (“Location”). Note: At this time, HealthInfoNet is unable to present a separate field for the manufacturer associated with the administered COVID-19 vaccine. However, end users can interpret the description of the vaccine to infer the manufacturer by using the crosswalk below. |
