Software Summary	The HealthInfoNet Clinical Portal gives participating providers the ability to securely look up and retrieve real-time patient medical record information in a view-only screen at the point of care, greatly improving patient safety and care coordination activities.
Software Updates	Added a new notification type to the “My Subscriptions” settings for “New COVID-19 Laboratory Result Available” (Figure 1). By subscribing to this notification type, users will automatically be notified either in real time or on a daily basis (depending on their preference) when a COVID-19 laboratory test result is received by HealthInfoNet for one of their attributed patients (configured through the “My Patients” component).

For Users Already Subscribed to the "Final Laboratory Result Available" Notification

Users subscribed to the “Final Laboratory Result Available” notification type will also receive COVID-19 laboratory results for their patient panels in addition to all other types of laboratory results. However, the “New COVID-19 Laboratory Result Available” notification type offers users the ability to easily distinguish COVID-19-related results from all others.

Updates to HealthInfoNet's Documentation

Updated the “Clinical Portal User Guide [Clinician/IS Support]” and the “Notification Services User Guide” to indicate the addition of the “New COVID-19 Laboratory Result Available” notification type.
