Onboarding Supporting Materials

Overview

As part of HealthInfoNet’s onboarding processes, there are a number of supporting materials that participants must leverage to ensure that all required activities are completed successfully. These materials are not available to organizations that are not actively participating in the statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE) and therefore are obtainable only upon request.

HL7 Interface Specifications

Provides participants connecting their available Health Level Seven (HL7) data interface(s) to the statewide HIE with the necessary interface specifications.

CCDA Interface Specifications

Provides participants connecting their available Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (CCDA) data interface(s) to the statewide HIE with the necessary interface specifications.

Guidelines and Checklist for Blocking and Sequestering Certain Sensitive Data

Provides guidelines and a checklist for participants’ compliance and technical integrations staff tasked with implementing procedures for blocking and/or sequestering sensitive patient health information as required by HealthInfoNet’s HIE Participant Agreement and Maine state law.

Mental Health Data Blocking Worksheet

Provides participants' compliance and technical integration staff with a template for identifying specific provider licensure and/or department/location identifiers responsible for administering mental health services at their organizations as a means of allowing HealthInfoNet to ensure that the appropriate data blocking mechanisms are in place.

VPN Secure Connection Guide

Guides participants' IT leads in understanding the necessary information that must be shared with HealthInfoNet in order to connect to the statewide HIE via the virtual private network (VPN) secure connection option.

2FA Secure Connection Guide

Guides participants' authorized end users in installing and configuring the necessary software to access the Clinical Portal via the two-factor authentication (2FA) secure connection option.

Clinical Portal New User Request Form (VPN)

Provides participants' Account Authorizers with a template for requesting new Clinical Portal user accounts for their organization’s authorized end users who are accessing the system via the VPN secure connection option.

Clinical Portal New User Request Form (2FA)

Provides participants' Account Authorizers with a template for requesting new Clinical Portal user accounts for their organization’s authorized end users who are accessing the system via the 2FA secure connection option.

HARP New User Request Form

Provides participants' Account Authorizers with a template for requesting new Health Analytics Reporting Platform (HARP) user accounts for their organization’s authorized end users.

HARP Participant-Supplied Custom Attribution Template

Provides participants with a template for leveraging their own custom attribution files with HARP to inform the assignment of their patients to unique providers and/or unique organizations for reporting purposes.
