Account Setup & Initial Login

The purpose of this document is intended to assist participating organizations' end users in (a) obtaining access to MAP, (b) logging in to the environment for the first time, and (c) identifying key components and navigation functionality available to get started.

Account Authorization

To obtain access to the MAP online user interface, new users must contact the appropriate “account authorizer” depending on their organization/department:

  1. For MaineCare ED Collaborative staff, contact Marguerite Riley, ED Collaborative Supervisor

  2. For MaineCare Complex Case Unit staff, contact Michele Lane, Complex Case Supervisor

  3. For MaineCare Analytics staff, contact David Jorgenson, Director of Data Analytics

  4. For MaineCare Value-Based Purchasing staff, contact Olivia Alford, Director of Value-Based Purchasing

  5. For CCPM member organization staff, contact your organization’s designated account authorizer

    1. If you are unsure of who to contact at your organization, please reach out to Erin Leighton, Information Systems & Database Administration for CCPM.

  6. For KRHA member organization staff, contact your organization’s designated account authorizer

    1. If you are unsure of who to contact at your organization, please reach out to Wendy Jorgenson, Population Health Director for KRHA.

Once the designated account authorizer has established a new user's account in the system, a welcome email will be sent to the new user with information on how to access the MAP interface.

Initial Login Workflow

For users familiar with HealthInfoNet’s systems, MAP is made accessible via the HIE’s Clinical Portal online user interface. To log in for the first time:

  1. Follow the instructions in the welcome email and click the link to visit the Clinical Portal.

    1. MAP/Clinical Portal URL: https://maine.prod.hinfonet.org/concerto/Login.htm

  2. Once their browser has opened and the Clinical Portal login page has loaded, users can enter their designated User ID and temporary Password into the provided login fields.

  3. Selecting the "Login" button will next prompt users to reset their temporary password to one of their own choosing and which meets the system's password complexity requirements.

  4. Finally, new users will be required to accept a MAP disclaimer upon their first login.

  5. New users will then be approved to enter the portal.

  • New users will be required to reset their passwords for security purposes upon their first login and every 90 days thereafter.

  • HealthInfoNet recommends that users set their accounts' "Security Question" upon logging in for the first time. Please see the section on "Password Reset Process" for more information.

Landing Page & Reporting Access

Upon logging in to the Clinical Portal, users will arrive to the online user interface’s default landing page. Depending on users' organizational affiliations and other related permissions, that landing page may look differently.

For example, if a user has access to the Clinical Portal for electronic health record and/or notification service functions, they will continue to receive those functions in addition to the new “Reporting” function where the MAP system is stored; whereas, if a user does not have access to the Clinical Portal for electronic health record and/or notification service functions, they will only receive the new “Reporting” function where the MAP system is stored.

In any case, when a user selects the “Reporting” menu and the relevant reporting dashboard submenu (e.g., MAP v.3.1), the reporting will load within the browser. By default, users will be brought to the “Attribution Selection” reporting dashboard where they must select their specific patient attribution before continuing to view the other subsequent dashboards in the reporting.

For more information on how users can select attribution specific to their organization(s), please see the section on Attribution Selection.
